Inhale at Inhabit Hotels launches new “Journeys”

Inhale at Inhabit, the wellbeing offering from urban-wellness hotel brand Inhabit Hotels, has launched three new “Journeys”, in addition to an expanded wellbeing menu including Reiki and Sound Healing treatments for the first time.

Since opening Inhabit, Southwick Street in 2019, the Inhabit brand has been an urban sanctuary for busy travellers, offering conscious and health-inducing stays. The brand opened its second hotel, Inhabit, Queen’s Gardens in the summer of 2022, further expanding Inhabit’s mission to create restorative, environmentally and socially-conscious places to stay in the city.

Inhale at Inhabit is the blissful spa and wellness centre located at Inhabit, Queen’s Gardens, which guests staying at both properties can use.

The first London hotel spa to offer treatments by British natural skincare brand GAIA, Inhale’s spa offering includes a varied schedule of holistic classes, such as Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, and mindfulness sessions run by resident experts. The gym provides the essentials, as well as a Peloton Bike. Guests can join live classes with leading instructors, streamed directly from Peloton’s NYC studio, or choose from a library of studio workouts. Guests can also choose to immerse themselves in a book in the hotel libraries, or join a mindful walk or running route in some of the city’s lush and green open spaces, and nourish the body and soul in the plant-based restaurant from award-winning retreat mavens, Yeotown, available at both properties.

The Journeys

The three new Journeys, “Awakening”, “Balancing” and “Calming”, comprise of bespoke wellness experiences, designed to support guests’ emotional and physical wellbeing. Each journey includes a tailored GAIA treatment, crafted to address specific concerns and with a defined goal in mind. Touch points to be enjoyed in the guest room further support the treatment, including selected herbal teas, wellness shots from social enterprise Social Supermarket, and matching oils and balms from GAIA.

Awakening Journey

The Awakening Journey helps revitalise the skin with a salt and oil exfoliation on the back, neck and shoulders, removing dead skin cells to reveal the refreshed, soft layers below. The treatment continues with a bespoke massage to help awaken the body and boost circulation, leaving  body and mind uplifted.

In-room touch points include ‘Energy’ herbal tea and All Shots wellness shot from Social Supermarket, and a GAIA strengthening pulse point oil, made with a blend of warming black pepper, and stimulating ginger and grapefruit essential oils to uplift and empower.

Balancing Journey

The Balancing Journey centres around a hot stone massage, using warm volcanic stones to soothe aches and pains, relieving muscle tension. This is followed by a nurturing Jade facial. Jade is known as the healing stone, and this treatment uses Jade crystal wands to relieve tension in the muscles, encourage blood flow, and help eliminate fine lines. This journey is designed to alleviate stress and bring equilibrium to the mind and body, leaving guests feeling restored and emotionally balanced.

In-room touch points include ‘Relax’ herbal tea and All Shots wellness shot from Social Supermarket, and a GAIA lip balm, formulated with Jojoba oil to heal the skin, and sunflower, olive and coconut oils to soften, plump and nourish.

Calming Journey

The Calming Journey begins with a serene back, neck, and shoulder massage to ease muscle tension and calm the mind and body. This is followed by a scalp massage, facial cleanse, tone and a beautifully relaxing facial massage, focusing on pressure points to relieve tension. A hand and arm massage further help to release stress and find total relaxation. A truly tranquil experience, this journey has been developed to offer complete relaxation and peace within.

In-room touch points include ‘Sleep’ herbal tea and All Shots wellness shot from Social Supermarket, and a GAIA sleep balm, containing pure essential oils of lavender, chamomile and orange blossom to help aid a good night’s rest.

Each journey lasts 60 minutes and costs £120 per person, not including accommodation.

Nightly rates at Inhabit, Queen’s Gardens start from £170, based on two sharing.
